Do any of you ladies use those sleeping bag things for your LO's? When did you start putting your babies in them? At the moment, we are still swaddling but I'd like to start putting him in his sleeping bag so he is used to sleeping in it.

I started using them when Tegan was about 2 weeks old i think, she wasn't Kean at first But after a few days was fine in them! x

I love sleeping bags! Isla moves up and down the cot, she is never where I left her!! I started putting her in them at around 3 months. At first she didn't get on with them, but she loves it now. I also know she is nice and toasty all the time :)

Dunelm mill have some nice ones and they do 0-6 month and 6-12, they are thin for the summer months

Been using them since Caitlin was 10 days old as she hated being swaddled. She loves them and knows when its put on its bedtime!

I love them as-well.
We didn't start using them till he was around three months old and in his cot, as he was way to small for them up until then. But now we think they are fab!!! xxxxxxxx

Noa has had his sleepingbag since he was 8 weeks n its brilliant x

They're great. G has been using them since he went into his cotbed at 7 weeks old.

Can't remember when I started, think it was a couple of weeks though. Ella-rose won't sleep at night without now, even when its really hot! Definitely recommend them :)

I'm trying Jake in his tonight but what do you suggest I dress him in underneath? I've got a long legged and sleeved baby grow. Do you think he'll be warm enough? His sleeping bag is 1 tog.

It depends on how warm his room is, if its 18 degrees or warmer that should be fine, its better too cold than too hot when they are tiny within reason. There should be guidance on the packaging, ours had anyway. Tonight ella is in a short sleeve vest and long sleeve top but that's only cos I didn't have any long sleeve vests clean or she'd have been in just that.

Isla wears a short sleeve vest and pjs or sleep suit, if it's really warm a longsleeve vest and pj bottoms.

I'll put him in a vest, and his baby grow and see how we get on. I've got a feeling he'll be swaddled by the end of the night!

I put Lo in a vest and either pjs or a sleepsuit, if its warm i just leave the vest off him. I used a sleepingbag from about 4 weeks as he kept kicking his blankets off him

I think the label on one of mine said baby should be 10lbs, but I put Sophia in a bit before that.

I've found them very useful, as she can't kick it off!
