Sleep suits in a day?

How many sleep suits will a newborn go through in a day? Just wondering how many to buy and how often Im going to be washing!

depends what you're going to dress them in, aidens only ever worn sleepsuits to bed, so 1 a day unless you need to change it. i think we had about 6 when he was born, but we'd to get the next size up within 2 weeks

Depends on the baby. In rarely had to change her as wasn't a pukey baby. So 1 for the day and one at night. would only buy things when you need them as she was out of newborn stuff after 4 days .

we had about 7/8 to start with so i didnt have to worry about washing so frequently. india was in the newborn ones for about 3 weeks and went up to 0-3 months. she's only just now gone into her 3-6months and she's a big baby.

Dont go to mad as you'll just end up with all these items that baby will not get much wear out of (a lot of mine got no wear)

Get the pack in different sizes if you can hun.

We had a sicky baby so naything up to about 6-7 a day for us! In fact we had to send my mum out when I was still in hospital as she had been sick on all the ones in my bag!

we had about 6 or 7 too which worked fine without washing everyday we did a wash every other day,

When Calum was born we were washing everyday as we only had 3 sleepsuit, and 3 vests and he would go through these in a day, once home and he got bigger we now only have 2 changes of clothes a day (day and night) but he wears sleepsuits at the moment in this weather cos i put him in a snowsuit to go out in and find it easier so we have loads of vest and sleepsuits, i would say around 20 of each or there abouts.

Poppy isn't very sickly and I always keep a bib on her anyway so we only have two changes a day....day clothes and sleepsuit for night. The only exception to this is if she has a bum explosion that the nappy can't contain!

With my other 3, I could have used 3-4 a day some days but with Lola-Mae, just the one usually!

I have a very sicky baby so usually have about 3-4 changes a day. Wish i had more newborn bibs too!!

It varies

If he's dribbling milk or having fairly explosive nappies than probably get through 2 sleep suits with short sleeve vests underneath.
Otherwise he could quite happily wear the same ones for 2 days

I had 8+ of each up to 9lbs as Farooq was only 6lbs 8oz but now this last 8-9days or so the vests are getting a bit tight and he's in 12lb sleep suits because he has no leg or foot room left.
I've only got about 4 of each in this size so I'm going to have to see how we manage. Feels like I'm always washing now
