Slavouring at 6 weeks old

Noah has never slavoured before - until recently. He's done it three times now. Once yesterday in the hospital before his follow up and twice today. It's literally excess spit in his mouth and blowing bubbles. Also a bit dribbled onto his cheek earlier.

Seems like such a silly thing to post about probably, but it's surprised me because he's never done it at all since he was born, and only thing that I associate slavouring with is teething - but he's obviously far too young to be starting with that!

Any ideas? Are your LO's the same?

My HV said they can get teething symptoms at any age and it's usually caused by the teeth moving about under the gums rather than getting ready to cut

my lo been doing that the last few days and she onlly 3 weeks, i just asumed it was normal,

no help im afraid but be curious to see what other advice u get
