So Evie got prescribed this by the doc while we wait for test results to come back and she advised us to put her on it to see if any difference is made. Well I've tried today and she is point blank refusing to drink it! So I've got an extremely hungry and upset baby and I have no idea what to do! Did anyone else have the same issue? And if so what did you do?

Yes! We were prescribed this when trying to wean my son off neocate. Sorry to say that nothing I tried worked. Mixed it with his other formula. Tried vanilla extract, chilling it until v cold (can mask taste apparently) but he wouldn't take it. Thought r was because he was so used to the Neocate and didn't like the taste but he wasn't wven putting the bottle in his mouth half the time. It smells utterly vile so I'm not surprised. Can you call whoever prescribed t and say baby she absolutely won't take it and see if they have any advice or can prescribe an alternative?

Thanks for your reply! I have to be honest I don't blame her for not wanting it as it does stink!! I've finally got her to tKe some but have had to mix the formulas! So gunna up the dose of it in a few hours and see how we go! If she's no better with it I'll be calling the docs today! X x

Oh that's great that she took some. I was doub 7 scoops old formula to just one similac and he wouldn't even put it in his mouth so it must taste really gross!

What are you mixing formulas with? your almost counteracting it so if you have had to
Mix formula is advise going back to old one

I was told to do it to get her used to the taste so I could eventually just give that!
They've done a stool sample to test for intolerances/allergies so hopefully I should know by Monday if nothing comes back allergy wise doctor said I will get refered to pead xx
