I was planning to take my maternity quite early because iv been struggling with mussel and ligiment pain since about 16 weeks, I went back to work yesterday and got sent home because was very painful. Doctors today signed me off until I go on mat leave, this means I'm off now until baby is born due 28/02/12 I'm really fed up already and can't walk very fair as gets painful, any ideas on things I can do to stop myself going insane in the next four months xxx

What kinda things are you interested in??

What about making something for baby?? - i did a nursery cross-stitch sampler for my neice when she was born - so far not had time to do one for my own LO due to a wedding sampler im trying to get finished - but you can do it lying in bed, on the sofa - and you'd have something as a keepsake for your LO at the end of it.

Oo that sounds really good id not thought of anything like that but I really like the idea. How hard is it lol thanks xxx

Its not that hard actually - you generally just follow the instructions - if you get a kit it comes with all the notes and bits that you need.

You can get them in loads of different styles and sizes.

Thats the one I did for my neice - it looks complicated - but i find the ones with seperate little pictures a lot easier than one big picture, because you can do it in sections easier.

If you want any tips feel free to pm me.

I was going to say cross stitch before I read the replies lol. I have got myself one to do while I'm on maternity leave, as i done one for my first. You'll be shocked how it makes the time pass, and you can sit down with your feet up x
