Hello to you all.
I am sick. sick , sick and oh well it has to be said a bit stooopid but guess thats nature.
Go for a prmotion at work. Interview next week andI can barely get out of bed.
The first we we tried to get pregnant, it happened.
Been off the pill for two yers anyway using natural planning method to avoid pregnanacy and somethinf just hit us to get stuck into trying and it didnt tale long.
Just had a kitchen fited and I was not coping with the illness thing whilst that was going on.
HELP.
I need to know that other people have coped.
Got a bit resentful to the baby for making me so ill.
Throwing my poor guts up and food tastes and smells like something horrid.
Help you other mums to be.
I feel alone.
At my mothers now .
My partner is great but how do you stop yourself driving him crazy?
HELP???
I am sick, puke and yuk... and job interview less than week away.
grrrrr.

Hi Vicki,

Welcome to the forum!

Ohh you sound like you are going thru it!

As for driving your Partner mad, well he has to try and be a bit understanding, blimey I have just become pregnant and I have lost ALL patience, and I am explaining to him that he has to let me be and ignore me.......I have to get it out my system, I can't help it! I am hot all the time, I have back ache and when I have to do anything it just makes me so hot and bothered and uncomfortable!! I BLOW!!! But he loves me all the same!

So your partner has to understand too babe, it is not all about what you can do under these circumstances!

As for the sickness, I swear by Ginger nut biscuits, or ginger cake, anything with ginger in it! My Mum taught me that and it worked a treat for me & my sister! - Also ready Salted crisps, the hospital advised them if you are vomitting quite a lot, as you should be able to tolerate them!

Hope this helps, and good luck with the interview, let us know how you get on! xx

I know exactly how you feel Vicky Vee! You are not alone!...I am feeling so rotten. Even though I haven't actually been sick, I feel sick all day long and have done for nearly 2 weeks...There is just no rest from it...And as for food, I am really struggling to maintain a healthy nutritious diet, when everything tastes and smells revolting! I have gone off almost everything I normally like! I just hope this part of pregnancy doesn't last too long...My partner is having to do everything because I feel too ill! I know it's only right that he does but I really am no fun to be around right now and I do feel a bit guilty!

Just made some ginger tea, recommended for morning (or rather allday)sickness in one of my books...It burns my throat out but if it does some good, I am all for it!!!

Hello... :D
Oh what a nice lot you all are.
Thank you so much for writing.
Yes I cannot stand the things I love and I think thats so odd but hummous makes me want to doe just thinking about it now is so gorss.
My mum has taken care of me for a few days so I am feling bit more perky now. (Veggie lasagne really made me feel better) WEll still awake at midnight, pretty impressive.
My bloke is mising me so I couldnt be that bad. Airotciv I am feeling your sentiment. I am sure my OH could have killed me last week, thank god for my mums sanctury in the coutry side. I feel like total mare having him run to sainsburys every five seconds.
Oh and ginger tea is another one for on the hurl factor now. It seems as if I am going of more foods and drinks by the day until my options look rather thin.
dreading going back to work next week.

I did get a good sense last night in bed of how much I am happy. :D :D :D I was freaked at first.. growing another human being inside my body but I listended the song Alien by Lamb and it made me think that my body is a home now and thats a good nuturing thought for the little bean. I dont want to blame it for this sickness as I reckon that kind of negative energys only gona make it worse.
I just got keep on keoping on I guess.
Thank you all for your lovley positive writings.
Take care of you all and you little lovlies.

Hello, you poor thing :( I'm sure your LO will be worth it and when he/she/they arrive you'll have forgotten all about it. They do say bad morning sickness is sometimes caused by twins

hello hun

you will forget all of this after u have had ur baby hang in there it all worth it xxx

Hi there hunnie

Bless you...I really feel for you..I always suffer badly with sickness for the first 5-6 months but once that passes I feel great, apparantly suffering with morning sickness is a good sign and means your body is adjusting really well to pregnancy...hmmm never feels like that at the time tho - lol.
You'll soon forget all about the sickness and will start to "bloom".
Take care
Love n hugs
