Been trying to register my friend all day...not working :(

Anyway Harrison is 20 weeks old. up until a week ago he was draining 9oz
each feed. suddenly its hard to get him to drink 5/6 oz.
Do you think he has had enough of milk and wants something diff.. or he does not need as much as he is not having a growth spurt... Ideally my friend wants to wean him. But is worried as he has stopped eating as much.... this does not follow signs for weaning so she is confused :?
any help would be good :D

ir's normal, harrison has gone through phases of taking 8oz and now he's back down to 5oz :)

Although Paris refused milk completely at 5 1/2 months

Response as above, but she may also want to check which teat size she is using and move up to the next one - he may be getting bored / tired with the milk coming too slowly for him.

Is he going the same time between feeds? If so then I'm sure the 5oz is perfectly enough for him. I would think if the teat is too slow and he's getting tired/bored feeding then he would get hungry earlier because he really hasn't had enough.

Definitely don't wean him unless he's draining large bottles and seems like he's still hungry.

One - weaning is HARD work, don't start until you have to!
Two - it's best for baby to wait till 6 months if you can.
