Should I go

If I dont come on by Monday I have to go and have a day 28 blood test. On my CD21 test last Monday I asked the nurse if I should book it now just in case and she said yes, so I did. It's at 9:50 Monday morning, as that's all they had but I would've wanted it a bit later. Trouble is I don't know whether to cancel it or not cos 1. I may come on by then 2. I'd have to leave work at 9:15 to get there and there's a couple of people on holiday so I don't think they will be able to get cover for me that early in the day (hence why a later appointment would be better). If I do cancel it and I need to get the test done I can always pop into the hospital when I finish work to get it done, but it's just sit and wait in line and I could be there ages. What would you do????

I'd cancel and go to the hospital later. There might not be a long queue, especially on a Monday night

Just being nosy but what is the blood test for?

I'm on my first cycle of clomid, and I had to have a CD21 test and if AF doesn't show by CD28 I gotta have another to see why. I think it checks how much progesterone I have and if it's not enough to make me Ovulate then they'd increase the clomid dosage. Hope that makes sense

what of somethings happens a work and u cant go after ? i dunno what type of work u do or how long it would take to go get ya bloods done etc . im like u find it hard to get round this have to have it on a certain day ! im lucky my cd21 test in friday but if it had of been today i would have been stuck !

Nah nothing will happen at work which means I can't go, I finish at 3.30, soon as the clock ticks over I'm outta there The hospital is only 5 mins away from work by car and last time I went there for bloods I only waited about half hour, there were 4 phlebotomists on duty and that was a Monday afternoon too, it's whether I can be bothered to go that's if I need to go. Plus I go to college on Monday evenings and I have to leave at 630 to get there.
