Shopping in your PJ's..

I do it occasionally, like if I'm going down the shop late at night which is usually after abath :( I'll throw my long brown coat on which comes right down to my ankles and then a pair of matching brown boots. It's dark and no one can tell I've got pj's on, even if they seen what I was wearing they'd not know they were pj's as I wear the pj joggers from primark.

No, but when I was about 6 months pregnant I borrowed my brothers car to drop OH at the train station. It was early in the morning so I just chucked my red tartan maternity jammies on and jumped in the car with the dog.

We got there a bit early so parked out the front and had a chat. Anyhoo, OH gets the train but I can't get the car started. Have to tell the guy behind the counter so as not to get a ticket and then walk half a mile back to my house with the dog in my bright red jammies. Everyone is going to work and I look like a crazy pregnant lady walking her dog

And to top it all off. The car was fine, I just needed to use the immobliser key!

Made me giggle

I just couldnt personally, if i saw someone doing that i would probably laugh at the fact they had the confidence. I love coming home and getting changed into my joggers and OH is the same. But on the outside world we dress to what most people would class as presentably. Here in Holland you would be looked at insanely if you would even dare to think to do such a thing, in Spain i think the same and in the UK i never saw anyone around our area go out in pyjamas either.

I have driven home from my mums with hair dye on my hair many times though, praying i dont get stopped by "Policia Local" - (the local police) or even worse Guardia Civil!!!

a friend of mine is a taxi driver and he says he quite often has jobs taking school kids home and the mums are still in their jamas in the afternoon! i think it must be quite depressing to be honest cos I dont feel the day has started until im dressed.

I do think there is a fashion side to it for some younger teenagers. I seem them fairly often in and around Manchester in very obviously pj's, with ugg type boots and trendy coats with full make up and hair. I think it's just another way to show how 'different' and 'daring' they are.

the only times i have been out in my PJ's that i can remember was when i was younger and i had a friend who lived directly across the road to me and i crossed the road in my pj's. and when i got taken into hospital in the middle of the night and i was in my pj's...I changed from a pair of adams boxers to a pair of trousers before we left home, but i kept the top i had been wearing on.

Alice goes out in her PJ's most mornings! I take her to my mums still in her PJ's and get her dressed there!! But thats normally because the last thing we do before we walk out the door is wake her up :rotfl:

 But thats the funny thing as thay are all wearing their PJ's so whos being "different" ?? hahaha One day one of them kids will wear clothes and the whole crowd will be in shock!

Round here they are in their jammies, with their nice coats and their ugg boots and their make-up and messy messy hair? So we are supposed to believe they just got out of bed with a full face of make up!? haha

Just remembered my sister used to go to the shop in her Abercrombie and Fitch PJ bottoms but only because she adores Jessica Simpson, personally I think she's an idiot :) Also I don't think they have Londis where Jess lives?

I'm sitting here in my pjs now  . I'm covered in pureed butternut squash also. I'm not planning on leaving the house today though.
