Shooting/Stabbing Pains.

I had to take my Girlfriend home today with terrible lower stomach pain. Thinking she was just ill, we thought nothing of it. I've now been on the phone and she is crying in agony so I thought I would ask here to see if this could be any sort of symptom? It hurts when she Pees, Moves and puts any form of Pressure on it. Not due for around 2 weeks, would it be a waste to test anyway?

Im just a bit worried thats all.

Hi Pricey. It sounds like she was in quite severe pain? I believe cramping pain can be a symptom of early pregnancy but I doubt it is meant to be so severe that it hurts when she urinates or puts pressure on her abdomen. I can understand you are worried and I would recommend that she visits a GP ASAP if these symptoms do not subside after or within 24 hrs. This will at least give you both some peace of mind. In the mean time it won't necessarily hurt to do a test although if she is not due her af for another two weeks yet it might not pick up any pregnancy hormone. Keep a watchful eye on her and seek medical advice if necessary. Good luck and let us know what happens.
