shooting pains in legs

last week i've had odd shooting pains in the top of my legs, and had it loads yesterday. feels like someone gives you an electric shock

(so i squeek, grab effected leg, walk funny for a second and then continue as normal )

has anyone else had them?? im thinking its to do with baby lying on a nerve or something?!?!

i get that a lot at the moment, and i HATE it! i feel like a cripple when it happens, and then totally fine after! i think its LO resting on a nerve or something, its mostly when i stand up or walk a lot.

Could be sciatica type pains Sounds annoying though!

milly - it is like a really sore pain that comes on so quick then is gone, makes me feel silly.

mildly - i wondered if it was sciatica idea

It does sound like sciatica. Sometimes it can be a constant dull pain but other times it's a shooting pain that goes down from your hip to your knee and makes you buckle if you're standing up. Putting a pillow between your knees when you sleep can help. Also avoid crossing your legs (if you can and do). It's a nasty pain...hope it goes away!
