Aaand so am I.

I have no clue what to do with alanna now.. she doesnt have many toys as she just ignores them! and if i try and play with her she will get excited for a couple minutes, then crawl off to eat paper or something but then if i go and sit down, she throws a tantrum. SO i know she WANTS to do something, but i cant figure out what!

And before you suggest it.. i cant take her for walks.. i live in the middle east and its REALLLLLYYYY HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

will bounce with me for 5 mintues, but just gets bored and whinges till i let her go again! impossibel child >.<

What about a ball pit??? Or toys that move and encourage her to follow them?? A ball popper? Puppets v tech do some great interactive toys that she might like now??? Water play is always good, a paddling pool or swimming pool with lots of water toys (and constant supervision ).

I'm sure there's lots of other things, I just can't think of them at the moment!

I was looking at a ballpopper thing for her birthday, she has a ballpit and paddlin pool but dont really play in em, she will play with a ball for a lil while if i sit n roll it to her but jsut gets fed up Lol she prefers to try and steal my lighter, ot bash on the laptop!

I feel the same way about Lizzie, she doesn't want to play with any of her toys! I have a ball popper thing but she just wants to pull herself up on it (then forgets to hold on so falls over). I think she would be happy if I held her hands so she could 'walk' all day, that's about all she wants to do.
I tried giving her a wooden spoon and saucepan the other day to bang but she just stuck the spoon in her mouth, realised it was boring and crawled off!

I feel dreadful saying I'm bored cos obviously I love being home with my girly, but it's much easier if we go out for the day/go see friends etc!

its the same here, Tegan would rather Crawl about destroying my house lol. i try to go somewhere every day so we get out the house, i also sit & play with a different toy with her every day so she don't get bored with the same ones x

yep sounds bout right. Are there any groups you can do where you are? Coz when my lo was this age I was doing a something out of the house twice a day to save my sanity, BUT thats here, thats where we can get free groups through the government.... I dont think you can where you are. So it will be swimming and or other things like that. I had my LO in swimming classes where Id be in teh pool with him xx

We were having the same. I had to show him how to play with toys, he goes for anything which isn't a tou bubbles are good for entertaining him. I think I'm gonna have to get one of those ball poppers!
