Sharp pains in tummy 27 weeks

I'm exactly 27 weeks today and for the past 2 days I've been having awful pains that feel like stabbing/period pains but much much worse. It's really starting to drive me insane and my bump suddenly feels as though it's been inflated, it got bigger overnight pretty much and I'm finding it so hard to sleep now Dx Are these types of pain normal or should I be going to see someone about it? It's not constant, it comes and goes- mainly coming when I'm sitting down, but it catches me out and it's almost like a throbbing pain I imagine right above where my cervix is at times, other times deep in my stomach/baby area

It could just be ligament/growing pains if you've noticed that you've had a growth spurt! I've had similar, but if you're worried then definitely ask your midwife about it to make sure
