Hello lovely ladies. We found out I was pregnant on Tuesday estimating af about 5-6 weeks pregnant. Other half is desperate to have sex but I’m a bit cautious with me being in the danger weeks. Is it safe? ThankYou in advance 😁

You're perfectly safe, as long as you haven't been deemed a 'high-risk' pregnancy or had any red blood, you're ok. Basically unless a medical professional tells you NOT to, you're fine.

Baby is well protected by the cervix, mucus plug and amniotic fluid :)

Thanks sparky mum. Only had the normal brown discharge and that seems to have stopped now and the odd like period pain but they only come and go and aren’t painful as such. Got the midwife on the 1st so will know more. Health is usually fine so I should be okay xx

I've had period pains since 4DPO. It's just your womb expanding and working overtime :)
As long as it's just a dull and tedious ache - it's normal, if you get any very painful and sharp cramps though give your MW a call to be safe.
That being said, I've had the odd sharp one but they are just single random ones so I'm not too concerned. I think it's muscular tbh.
Have a look at how much your womb grows in the first trimester and you will feel a lot better!

P.S. I'm also 28 and my OH is also 27 :)

It's totally safe. I was too scared for those first couple of weeks as my cramps were so intense. But the contractions caused by an orgasm are not enough to hurt or dislodge your baby, it's fine! Just obviously listen to your body, if something hurts, don't do it.

Yes it’s totally safe- and amazing. Pregnancy sex is pretty much my favorite thing on earth... enjoy! :)

Totally safe!! Unless you're hanging off the roof and likely to fall off ;)

It's never put me off, if anything the hormones make me want it more! Lmao

ThankYou lovely ladies you’ve all made me reassured. Sparky mum I’m 29 in November there’s 2 years between me and hubby. Xx

I lost all my sex drive and then when I did want it it was hard with my bump as I didn't really want it till 3rd Tri and then I didn't enjoy it plus I had bad SPD the sex drive came back after birth though xxxxxx

Mine seems to have disappeared at the min I think it’s the worry of it harming baby that puts me off xxxxxxxxxxx

I couldn’t be less interested. Poor OH! I know it won’t do harm, I just can’t get in that headspace lol
