Sex Drive/Cleaning frenzy!

Hi all you lucky 2nd tri ladies ! Hopefully joining you soon after 12 week scan on 2nd Jan.
Just intersted (and sorry if a bit personal !) if any of you have experienced an increase in sex drive and if so at what stage? Mine has dried up comlpetely, and as I came off the pill, had sex twice and was pregnant my OH is feeling distincly cheated!!

Also I cant get any enthusiasm to clean anything and my house is in a right old state, I have heard of women getting up in the night to scrub their kitchens! Anyone experienced this and again at what stage! Just wondered if this was all a myth! Or I might suddenyl change into a new woman!

I went through a stage in my first 12 weeks of not wanting to do anything lasted until about 14 weeks didnt clean the house or anything!
Also i had no sex drive what so ever up until about 17 weeks when it all came back LOL
And now well all i want to do is sleep!

For the first 16 weeks I was too ill to have sex & clean!! But from 16 weeks onwards my sex drive went through the roof!
I'm cleaning my house as I would have done pre-pregnancy - I don't think you have 'cleaning frenzy's' until your at the later stages of pregnancy when you're 'nesting instinct' kicks in 8)

thanks ladies! So I shall look forward to week 16/17! Hopefully this will be the same for me!

Always hated cleaning, I work in London and have my own horse! There are not enough hours in the day even when your are not pregnant!

Be careful hun - I did too much when I was 19 weeks pregnant & I pulled a muscle in my stomach and I had a slight bleed which then told me I needed to calm down a bit

mine hasn't come back atall...My hubby was told about a horny phase in tri 2 but puking 2 -3 times a day i have never felt less like seeing to his needs LOL...I think he is gutted..I rad him my stars for next year and it said i will have aboost in my sex drive in may so told him only 5 months too wait

cleaning still hasn't come back,OH is doing it for now

I think my OH has now resigned himself to a celibate life! i have been reading that when you have a baby with someone the whole family bond thingy increases your sex drive, so I am also holding out hope for that!
Bless you still being sick in the second tri, must be very miserable, I'm just having killer headaches.

Thanks for the hugs! I have always been on the go and am finding it hard not to do everything myself at the yard, but my mummy (bless her) comes and helps me every weekend! Horse will be living out as of April, so no mucking out! Whohoooo! Probably get really fat tho as that is my only exercise!! and now I have my appitite back!!

I cant get enough sex at the minute

I also cant stand being in the house when its a mess so Im always tidying up!

My sex drive comes and goes - sadly for OH its gone at the moment!!

Cleaning was never my strongest point - hoping i'll suddenly get the urge to keep the house clean and tidy and that it stays forever - but I doubt it!!!!
