Sex and Baby Movement

Two questions...

Firstly, what is the earliest any of you have felt your babies move?

Secondly, when I have my scan I will be 13 weeks... what is the earliest they can see the sex?

Anyhoo.....

I first felt LO move when I was about 19 weeks but many people feel it sooner than that and they probably wont be able to tell you the sex just yet, apparently you can tell as early as 16 weeks but most people have their scans at around 20-22 weeks and they find out then.

I felt LO from 16 weeks. Gender becomes visable to the naked eye at 12 weeks (up till then they look the same) if you had a 4D scan at 13 weeks they would be able to tell, with a regular ultrasound it's harder but not impossible but most scanning people won't say untill week 21 scan uncase they are wrong as it is that much harder to see. I thought I saw boy bits on the 12 week scan, I then couldn't wait for the 21 week scan and had a gender scan at 16 weeks...it was a little boy!!

I first felt "bubbles popping" at about 16 weeks.

Haven't felt mine yet.

I had a NT scan at 13 weeks and they couldn't or wouldn't tell the sex then.

Exactly my thoughts too!

I first felt "bubbles popping" at about 16 weeks.

I thought that too lol

I didn't feel any movements until 20 weeks or so, but since then they've been pretty much constant..

hey hun i felt the ' quicking' at around 14 weeks. and i felt the baby kick at around 19 weeks. its amazing!

Felt bubbles at about 15 weeks and movements for definite at 16/17 and major kicks at 19 weeks
Sexing scans are done from 16 weeks at babybond but apparently they can tell you from 6 weeks i think someone mentioned not long ago

felt Abbie at about 12 weeks and then properly at around 16 weeks. OH felt her on outside at 20 weeks. second time round felt movements at 11 weeks, and get good kicks at 15/16 weeks. OH felt this again at 20 weeks. Found out sex at 20 week scan, couldn't tell at 12 week scan.

I feel butterflies and slight movements, nothing to scream about but it stops me in my tracks at times. I feel my baby when he sits on my nerve (a majority of the time) or giving me a little nudge in my bladder but I think these are all normal signs in a pregnancy.

As for the sex, so many people have said 12 weeks but that is only but an experienced doctor, I think a lot of doctors are withholding telling a person the sex of their child at that stage as it maybe wrong. I think your 5 month scan is more clear but these 4D ones etc are better, my words are only reflecting on the normal scans though.
