Gah, I feel so stupid for writing this but as I didn't get any stitches and I'm not sore at all down there any more I tried to have sex with OH. It was curiosity more than anything else but...it was like flinging a sausage down a well.

My little girl is only 10 days old but I got so upset that neither him or I could feel anything it literally went in then back out again. Wish I'd never done it now but since she's my second I just wanted to know if it was 'normal' down there or not. I'm the most impatient person ever. It also felt really wet and slippery like (sorry tmi).

Please tell me it will go back to semi normal?!?

Wow 10 days old, you are brave! I waited until 6 weeks & that was still a bit uncomfortable - I had only a couple of labia stitches. My obstetrician told me to hurry up & have sex at 6 weeks otherwise it will end up being too tight & she said she didn't want me back there complaining I couldn't have sex! So from this I deduce that by leaving it a few weeks your muscles will tighten again naturally so my advice would be to be patient & wait until at least 6 weeks. I've only had 1 but I'm assuming a body is a body & should continue to function as normal x

Thanks, hun.

I only had a small graze on my labia (I think) which stopped stinging after only a couple of days. It's not sore or uncomfortable down there at all so I thought I may as well give it a bash thinking it must be back to normal. Obviously not...

I think you're right in waiting the 6 weeks, I'm just so scared at the thought of waiting and then for it still to be loose. I shouldn't have tried so early, I know, I was just jumping in with both feet a little too early which just ended up making me feel like crap! Xx

I had an episiotomy and my stitches separated a few days after so I will be waiting at least 6 weeks before I try!!! I agree with the lady above! X
