Ok so when I was lying on my side in bed last night I felt the strangest feeling in my belly last night that I can only describe as a twitch or muscle spasm! And this morning I went to toilet, came back and lay on my side again and a few seconds after coughing I felt it again in the same place! I've never ever had it before - its way too early to be baby right?! I'm 11w 1d Xxxx

I'll be intrigued as to what other people say hon because from around 10 weeks I occasionally felt this vibration low in my stomach. I very very recently felt a couple of pops - I really want it to be baby but everyone including the medical profession say otherwise. It would be good to hear from other ladies xxx

Like actual movement! Not at all sore and def not wind! Kind of like vibration as Tara says. I know its wayyy too early but I've never felt this before. Waiting for it again now lol xxxx

I posted about exactly the same thing around 12 weeks but now I've actually felt some proper movement it's a totally different feeling so think it's just stretching I'm afraid...but can't say for sure!x

I think u prob felt your baby!! I remember feeling like a bubbling sensation at about 10 weeks with my first!

I get stretching pains too but they are always in a dif place to this, this was slightly above pubic bone but to the right an inch or so both times! Ill know better in a few months when baby is bigger and kicking my insides lol :) xxxx

I think I've felt stuff like this too, but thought I was either imagining it or it was wind lol :') when can most people actually feel proper kicks and things? X

That's a good description, like popcorn popping! My mum said with us she felt us very early on too so it could have been baby! Aww exciting, can't wait to feel them stronger :) xxxx

Don't let them tell you that!! Both Jayjay and I got movements very early on, and I confirmed mine with the doppler. The midwife didn't believe me either, but tough I'd already proven it. She also said it was doubtful what I was hearing on the doppler was the baby, but I've been hearing the heartbeat since 10 weeks!!

They like to stick to their textbook facts but every woman and every pregnancy is different xx

Thanks Leesey - I totally agree but got a little disheartened when nearly everyone was telling me no its wind. It very possibly could be wind but how do they know, especially when it doesn't feel like wind to me!!! If it's new then it should be questioned but I momentarily doubted myself

So exciting to be feeling these sensations xxx

It will eventually get stronger and start to become more defined, and eventually you might be able to tell the difference between a hand and a foot. Right now I seem to get more tickles with the hands, and gentle thuds with the feet!

I can't wait til DH can feel it :) xx

I can only tell the difference between hands and feet when its pounding me with both lol. If its either a punch or a kick by itself, I can't tell yet.
But I'm at the stage now where I don't even have to wonder 'was that my LO?' Because I know it is. As the little pops get stronger ull realise without shadow of a doubt that it is baby. Like Leesey, I was able to confirm with a doppler what I was feeling was baby :)

How exciting lol. Those first little movements are wonderful. It just gets better :) xx
