The official line?.....My kidney function has improved ( ) and since baby's head is still 'in the sky' and completely unengaged plus am as tight shut downstairs as a bloody nun, I'm being given a few more days.

The unofficial line?.....Staffing levels over Bank Holiday weekend mean they're keeping beds for emergencies only (not that they confirmed this)

Am I bovvered? Er. no. If the little guy isn't ready, neither am I. I haven't wanted to be induced if I can get away with it, so this feels like a stay of grace. However, I report to the ward direct on Wednesday 30th, where baby will be delivered no arguements kicking (maybe) and screaming (probably).

Tankett, our LO's could share a birthday!! Sorry for getting everyone so
excited . I won't be on here much this next week. One, because am sulking a little and avoiding outside world until have some PROPER news to share (have turned my phone off!) and Two, because will be too busy guzzling fresh pineapple and having rampant sex (Happy Birthday to me! )

Doh! I would say the same as budge - enjoy your last weekend of being pregnant and 'large', but if I can presume we're all in the same boat and given the choice I'd rather pop this weekend, still I guess you've waited this long 5 days ain't going to make much of a difference. Enjoy your pineapples and rampant sex, not sure my weekend is going to be a eventful - maybe I might go for a swim, bought a swimsuit for a £10 at Mamas & Papas and I'll be damed if I don't use it before baba is here!

sorry to hear that hun but as you said if the lil mans not ready! you might go natural now..be more comfortable (if thats possible with labour?)
than an induction!

It won't be long now, I was at a wedding yesterday and I said to my hubby I wonder if LittleMinx has had her baby yet! He thought it was funny that!
