Seen consultant today....

Thank you ladies. :D

The swab results were from valentines day. I had a bleed and some pain, so they asked me to come in.

I never heard anything from it.

Went in again on mothers day withmore blood and pain. That was a sunday. On thursday, the reg from triage phoned me and said my swab results had gone missing, so can I please go to my GP and have them repeated.

I made an appointment for the next week at my surgery. In the meantime, had a letter from my 20 week scan urine (which should have been to check strep b) to say I had an infection and to get the treatment from my doctors. It said they had also written to my doctor.

The letter the nurse at my doctors had said urine and swabs need repaeting. No mention of infection.

And on and on, repeats and me getting upset....Up until last week where the was a lot of blood and pain.

It actually does me good writing it on here, because all the facts come back to me...So, I am clear for when I contact pals.

I am still in a lot of pain. There was some blood last night and some spotting this morning. I have tried not to panic, as obviously the infections wont have gone yet. So, just got to sit tight and hope it goes away.

Hope it clears up soon  I can't believe you weren't given those results :| What a bunch of idiots!!

This is exactly why i get my mum to look up my results for me, i've jsut had some done, they came back borderline anemic and raised white blood cell count, along with my feeling pretty shitty generally suggests i have an infection, however no-one will mention these to me i no that.

Yours is 10 times worse! At least it probably wont hurt baby for me to be unwell but yours could have, i'd complain too, and if it was me id also be looking in to changing hospitals. We're lucky cos theirs 3 hospitals near us and all are pretty good.

I am so glad that I can talk to you ladies on here. For ages i have felt like my pains have been in my head. :wall:

There are lots of hospitals in Brum. Am gonna start looking into them.
