I'm a second time
Mum being told to relax and stop doing things now I'm 35 weeks pregnant ! Ummmm not sure how when I have to do school lunch swimming lessons keep my son amused cook dinner-
Any tips! Because right now I feel like I'm about to boil over like spuds on a hot plate

Lol! Tri hopping xx do mums ever really relax? Hmm nope I can't imagine how! Xx

Hahaha x I think I get more annoyed they say slow down x how can any mum slow down? Lol I think not slowing down is a good thing x because then once second one is here it's not so much of a shock as your already ahhhhhh if that makes sense lol

I sympathise, running around after a toddler whilst being pregnant and people telling me to take it easy winds me right up...I'll just pop lo in the garden whilst I have a nap eh! X

HAHAHHA mrs v thank you for getting it x nap here nap there ! Yes because that's what I can do isn't it lol

I was told to rest at 38 weeks by a 'midwife'. I said I tried to when my 16 month old was in bed and she started telling me to not feel bad if I didn't do stuff with her because even kids who have been abused have unconditional love for their parents! I could've punched the stupid woman in the face! Xx

Same here hun. I'm also 35wks and have an almost 4yr old. I'd love to take a nap in the middle of the day (or maybe two!), but I have to look after him as hubby is working.

It's been harder work these last two weeks with no nursery. Can't wait until Easter is over and I can get my morning peace and quiet again lol.

Oh thank god x someone who feels the same lol x I've also got a v v naughty 4 year old too x x x
But I'm hoping that once school starts back ( 4 days and counting lol) that things will calm down x x

I've been lucky on the behaviour front - my son is very excited about the baby! Bit apprehensive about how he'll feel once baby is actually here though. I've heard all sorts of horror stories about jealous three year olds lol!

We're going to get him a present from baby and have been trying to include him in important decisions. His name choices are, shall we say, creative lol. He's "helped" me assemble practically everything from nursery furniture to the baby swing and been to all but one of my scans and midwife appointments. I think he's getting tired of waiting now though lol, as every day he asks if baby is coming out soon!

Nightmare! Totally feel for you all as I was there last year - my daughter was 13 months when I got pregnant, so I was running around after a young toddler for almost my entire pregnancy!!! Added to that, previous history of pre-eclampsia, so told to take it easy, not carry my daughter (she didn't actually walk until 19 months, so how was I supposed to get her upstairs etc.?!), ridiculous. I've never EVER been so knackered in my entire life!

My sympathies! xxx

Oh god both of you!!!! X lol x x x
Yes getting him involved we are making up the bits next weekend so that should be fun !!! Xx I'm hoping he will love her when she arrives x but you're right you never know x x x
Blimey 13 months you poor thing must have been so so hard x BUT worth it and defo worth doing it close apparently x we waited 4 years now I'm worried lol

I have no other children but just wanted to say I think you all deserve a medal! I am physically and mentally drained a lot of the time! I try to keep up with everything and end up being hardly able to move! I don't want to have an only child and don't want my children to be too far apart in age, but thinking I may have to wait until lentil is around 10 years until I can try again! Lol x

Ahhh what a lovely thing to say x x x x I guess that's what we do us mums x x x hope you're resting lol x
Well I must admit if I could go back I would have done it sooner rather than later lol get it all done and dusted lol x

Totally know the feeling. I'm 34 weeks and have a 16 month old to run around after and she's a nightmare at the best of times! xx

I'm there with you ladies! I'm
28 weeks and my little girlie is almost 15 months. It's madness! And I HAVE to pick her up all the time. If she falls over, is upset, getting herself in danger etc. I can't just leave her and say I can't cos I'm pregnant! To me she's still a baby. She needs her mummy! Will be interesting when she has to share me. So totally with you on the 'how are we meant to slow down' thing! Xx

lots of ladies in the same boat x feels good to know not alone x
Any tips ladies?! I manage to sit in sofa while LO watches a TV show for half hour x lol x

Disney DVDs!! Lol

I have had two very close together before, and we had afternoon relax time before my dd1 had a nap. We sat together on the sofa with our feet up and chilled, and then when she had her nap I tried not to use the time to catch up on housework or chores but to have a little lie down too. House was a tip but I managed. That is when I was not working, cos for 3 days a week I worked up until dd2 was born.

Now, I have teenagers and sometimes they are just as hard work as a toddler. Same trantrums just in a bigger package, lol! Mentally rather than physically stressful.

I'm now 39weeks with a 2.5 year old. This week the weather looks very wet ALL week and thank god I have TiVo'd all 3 toy stories :0)
The weather was lovely last week and all she wanted to do was play outside so I might actually get some lazy days in this week!!
Last week was my 1st week off so although it was exhausting I was still in work mode and felt like I could do something but now I'm done ha ha
