I know pregnant women in general are not allowed to eat seafood ....but I was wondering is it all type of seafood?? I feel like having noodles and shrimps but I am not quite sure whether we can eat it or not???...

afarid hunni all sea food is out the question. your allowed cooked fish as long as its done properly x x x

Prawns, scallops etc are fine in moderation as long as they are cooked properly.
I've had scallops twice since being pregnant and baby is fine :) x

Thanks everyone!!!... Well great then...I will be heading off to Asda tomorrow to get some prawns and noodles!!

I have prawns (buy them cooked from chilled section in supermarket) at least once a week. I'm a vegetarian but eat fish but since becoming pregnant I've went off all fish except prawns and feel I need a wee protein boost from somewhere!!! Never had any problems. Just need to be sensible - use well within use by date, cook thoroughly (if you're buying them raw) don't over do it!! Etc

seafood is fine as long as it is cooked thoroughly i love mussels had sum the other day they were red hot n probably overcooked but they were soooo nice hehe xx
