My 10yr old started a new school in March, got his jumper out the drier today and it's split down the seam from the bottom all the way to the elbow. I asked him how it happened and he doesn't know, I think he would remember anyone pulling it he loves telling me how naughty people are.
Would you take it in and ask for it to be replaced, it's clearly down the seam I would expect it to last at least the school year wouldn't you?
I actually got it big so it'd last him through year 6 as well and they are not cheap
