Been worrying a bit the last couple of days that Bean was moving a lot less than she had been and this morning was really having to concentrate to feel any movements at all :(

Rang midwife who referred me to the fetal medicine unit for monitoring straight away and fortunately everything seems OK, heartbeat was averaging at 135 bpm and of course she started wriggling a bit once the belt was round her!!

Good news is I was getting regular contractions too which I can feel but dont hurt - midwife reckons labour is not far off!!

I am so relieved and the staff were lovely, I didnt want to waste anyones time but they said I did the right thing coming in, phew! :)

Oh good luck hunny :D
more babies
how are you now ??
hope it happens soon

It's horrible worrying about your LO like that so you did the right thing getting checked out. It is far easier to tell someone to do that than to actually go and see someone, as you don't want to waste anyone's time.

Hope everything goes well for you- not long now! :cheer:

I'm glad your little girl is ok :D Fingers crossed she'll be on her way soon :D

Yay for contractions that aren't hurting yet too! Good luck :cheer:

  Great to hear that all is ok. All the best, it sounds like you are on your way, right on time!!! :cheer:

 how worrying when baby stops moving so much

Funnily enough that was exactly how I found out I was in labour with my first! Lack of movements and being monitored with the belts when they asked me if I was feeling the contractions

Good luck
