Scary Day

Hiya Everyone

What a day!! had a very worrying one, as you all know, i constantly have cramps, but last night and this morning they were very very painful. was advised to go to A&E at the Women Hospital, Liverpool. Me and OH, went, waited and then got seen too, I was internally assessed, and everything seems ok, but just ot be on the safe side, i have an internal scan booked for 2pm on Monday. I hoping there will be a tiny heartbeat!!!

I'm sure you'll be ok! I went to hospital with bad cramps at six weeks, (and still getting them sometimes now) but all was fine at last scan (at 9 weeks). Sometimes cramping is a good thing! All things growing and stretching etc.

cramping is a good sign sometimes, cos u know all ur insides are growing etc, but try not to worry hun, im sure everything will be fine

Did you need a wee at the time they happened by any chance?
I had really horrible cramps yesterday morning when I woke up, and i hadnt had my usual get up for a wee and then i looked it up and sure enough, a full bladder in early pregnancy can cause bad cramping.

I get a bit of cramping now and then, i had trapped wind other day and was getting abit panicy
im going to call my midwife tomo as i have a list of questions for her lol

Internal Scan is in 2 hours, im so nervous!!! Just hoping that everythng goes ok and that the heartbeat of baby bean is strong, i should be back home by 4pm, so ill update you girls soon xxxx

Hi Ladies!!! Hope you and all the baby beans are fine.

Well, we went to the scan, the internal scan shown my ovaries are fine and more importantly baby bean is fine, she/he is 9mm long but there is no heartbeat to hear at the moment, they said this is because she/he is so small. But we have another scan booked in 2 weeks time 1st september

Glad all went well I went for an early scan this morning too (I live in France and is standard on 1st one to have early) found out I was less far gone than I thought!!(6 weeks) My bean is 8mm - so must be really close behind yours. Did they give you a due date?

I went in dying for a wee and didn't need a full bladder after all but got to see the size of my bladder (3 times larger than the bubble sac)! Did you see the heartbeat? I got see see this one, it was almost the same size as the bean!
