Hi
Well all i've done all day is walk around, and i only said to my husband earlier that i've noticed a change in movements, i've slowed right down and the baby feels really low now. Then about 8pm tonight we were stood talking and the most almighty pain ripped through my pubic area, to the point of it felt like i had dialated, my legs went from underneath me and my husband had a big mark where i grabbed hold of him!! It brought tears to my eyes and i now remember what labour pains are like    Since then i've had twinges and tightenings, now i'm scared to go to bed incase i start! Baby is still moving around though which is good.

don't be scared, would it be worth phoning your midwife for a bit of reassurance?

Sending you bug hugs

Thanks, since i wrote that i've had another couple of bad pains right in my nether regions which have kinda took my breath. My midwifes a bit of a cow so i dont really wanna ring her, i will monitor it and try and get some sleep and hope it holds on for another month!! I'm not ready yet and i'm too tired for labour!!

Thanks for your replies ladies, i've only just been able to get online. I went up to bed and everything seemed to stop, woke at 2am with bad back pain but that went off too and have had pains on and off all day but not severe enough for labour. Maybe its the start of slow labour :? I've got the midwife tomoz afternoon so will get position of baby, etc checked and mention the pains.

only just seen this, good luck 2mro afternoon xx
