Scared- just got diagnosed with hyperthyroid

Has anyone had this diagnosis?

Have heard this can triple the risk of miscarriage and I can't bare another one! have also heard this casues premature labor.

I have an emergency appointment with an endochrinologist tomorrow so am hoping to get some better news

Anyone heard of this?

Hi there

Yes it went ok- jsut got prescribed a low dose drug to bring my levels back down to normal. BUT then the results of the test came back today and he called to say it had gone down into the high normal range! YAY

Need to have another test in 2 weeks. In the mean time I have developed sharp pains which i think are 'round ligament pain' ... another thing I am worried about which I probably shouldn't!
