Scared about OH being away

 eeek! Fingers crossed that you don't go early too!

 xx

Went to my 36 week appointment today and was told ladies with extra water normally go early, about 38 weeks, eek

I had loads of water and was 8 days late with my daughter, try not to worry!

Youre not there yet so dont panic, you have a contingency plan in place.... Im not sureI would be happy about him leaving for work... to be honest I would throw and eppy fit if my OH went away. I asked my oh to not drink for the last month and the one night he did, the day before my due date, he got drunk... I went into labor during the night. I let him sleep it off as the contractions were irratic and went to the hospital the next day. He tried to go to work, but I basically said if he went to work he wouldnt find me or our baby here when he got back. I think he got the message ha ha. I can be very dramatic at times! my poor bloke

Fair enough, whereabouts is he in Russia(I am Russian)? At least he doesnt need an exit visa!

I really am not happy about him going but should have said before. I told him he is not allowed to check his blackberry or answer his phone during paternity leave, I dont give a sh!t if they need him

I agree that having a good plan B might help you relax. Is this your first? If so then just try to remember that first pregnancies tend to go overdue and there's no reason to think that you'll go into labour as soon as you get to full term.

I really sympathise though. I'd be a bit apprehensive if my OH needed to travel close to full term for me.

PS - I'm Russian too  I had an inkling that your forum name was in Russian but you never know with these things!

Thanks ladies, I am bit calmer now, my friend said she will take me to hospital if anything happens in his absence and she lives very close to me. Plus she has a daughter so she has done it before and will probably be a good labour partner.

My husband is now scared as well and was asking Wrigglers to stay put until he is back, we will see if he listens to his daddy.

Alexandra, yes, its my first but you just never know, do you?

Had my full GTT today, I thought my boy was going to escape through by BB in the first hour after the glucose, it makes them hyperactive.

Not too bad, I enjoyed my panini and mocha afterwards. They said if I dont get a call until Monday then the results are normal but I have a follow up appointment on Monday anyway. I seem to live in the hospital these day.

Hopefully it will be all clear and they will leave me alone.

Well found out that now he cant fly out on Weds because they changed the rules. FFS, they are just trying to make things harder to get bribes. Really mad
