Scared about extra scan tomorrow

Wow Titch, just researched hypnobirthing. It does sound very peaceful, but I'm not sure if that terrifies me even more. I can't imagine going into that situation and smiling even without any drugs! Ouchie!!! Have you done it before? Xxx

I did hypnobirthing but I had preeclampsia so no birth pool, or relaxing mode for me! I had to be induced on the antenatal ward, and then got forced into an epidural so they could give me a massive dose of syntocinin, then I had an emergency section... so no, probbaly the opposite of a hypnobirth, but I did labour for almost 3 days with only paracetamol and hypnobirthing kept me sane for sure (or as sane as Ill ever be ;) ) I was having strong contractions every 2-3 minutes and managed to get some sleep inbetween them thanks to the techniques.

So glad everything is going well! It sounds like they are taking good care of you and your little girl! Xx

Hi everyone!
Had more in depth scan today. Two consultants in there today. They gave Bubba's little heart a really really detailed going over, and have said that they really don't believe there is anything for me to worry about. Obviously, knowing that 50% of DS children suffer with heart problems, which usually result in surgery - and now knowing that bubba is in the 50% that is safe from this has just made Jeremy (fiancé) and I feel so happy!!!
Now for some relax time!
Xxxx
