Hi everyone (& especially Miffy)

Not sure if anyone's been following my ordeal but I've had a pretty stressful few weeks having been told, following an early scan at what I thought was 7 weeks, that only an empty sac was present. Although I was pretty confident about my dates, I was told that I might have ovulated later than I thought so to come back for a follow-up scan today. I went along expecting the worst... but saw a 9 week old baby with a strong healthy heartbeat!!!

Miffy - I know you're in the same situation at the moment so hoped this would give you hope that we don't always ovulate when we think we should! Hope you have good news too when you go for your scan.

I now feel like I properly belong in 1st tri

Fantastic news! So happy for you! You must be relieved that the waiting's over and like you say, you definitely deserve to be in tri 1! So, presumably, they went back on what they said about your dates as you've jumped up to 9 weeks?

I'm still teetering on the edge of tri 1, in fact I feel like I'm going backwards! Should be 7 weeks tomorrow by my dates, 5 weeks by their dates. Still at least another week to go before my next scan. But you've given me hope now!

Congratulations again! Not long before you'll be joining tri 2!

what a wonderful result. Congrats to you and bump...looks like we are about the same in dates too....My scan went really well today too, hyper active bouncing bean...yippee.....and now you can give so much hope and reassurance to everyone with similar issues... Lv Yvonne xx
