I have another scan tomorrow to check if my low-lying placenta has moved (it had... then apparently it hadn't).

Last time they made me feel like it was a chore for them to get a picture of bub even though it was in a good position (the time before they forgot even though I asked them before). OH can't come as he's gone to Holland to register baby ("unborn fruit" in Dutch... haha) so it can have dual nationality when it's born so I would love him to have a piccy. My best mate is coming with me instead.

Do I ask/don't I? Blah!

Ask I would. I had an emergency scan at 15 weeks due to a bleed and they gave me a picture but I really had to nag for it, the sonographer was a right cow as well, face like a bag of spanners

I got a piccy at 28 weeks - she couldn't really refuse though as I had paid £4 for the tokens you get to buy your scan photos.
She did tell me they don't normally give scan pictures that late because the baby is bigger and the quality isn't that good but, mine were really good

i had a scan to day and hard to really see baby just one part at a time so did not ask for photo as baby really too big. however not sure if they can zoom out so get a whole pic of baby. the first scans are the best when baby is a nice size to see whole baby.

good luck for tomorrow

id definately ask for a pic hun or you will regret it after

I got pictures at my scan today. I asked if we could film the scan but unfortunately their policy doesn't allow that. Just ask at the beginning. The worst they can say is no.

Ach it couldn't hurt. Baby is obviously a bit more squished up now than before but I can try. Depends if the person is feeling nice!

It just depends on who we get at the time..if we have someone miserable then we don't bother, but if it's someone really friendly and chatty we do ask. We asked the last time (2 weeks ago) but because baby is bigger and I haven't got alot of fluid there wasn't any point. I can't seem to make out much now anyway :(

id ask and if i u see them scanning u and u see a good pic say can i have a pic of that when i was preg with Oliver i had a right old bint who said no as i wouldnt get any good pics but then as she was scanning me i saw his foot and i was like can i have a picture of his foot and then a really clear face pic and i also asked for that but we did have to say to her we will put money in the donations jar!!!

I'd get one - at our hospital u have to donate some money so give them a few punds ;)
