Scan tomorrow...what to expect?

I've got my 12 week scan tomorrow and I was wondering what to expect and how long I would be in there for?

Hi congrats

they told me to drink plenty of fluids, to push baby up..

you will probably be there for a good hour or so, as they will do other tests etc..

the actual scan they will give you your proper due date, measurements etc..

thats basically it i think. but its great seeing a lil baby in there,will look like a peanut

just remember to drink tons of fluids think its a pint before u go usually an hr before and dont go toilet till they done with ya.

may need to do a urine sample there aswell

For my 12 week scan I was in there for about 20 mins, they only did a scan and not any other tests, I drank a litre of water an hour before I went and then enabled me to get a really good clear picture.
