Scan this morning!

It's today!

20 week scan is at 9.20am so I'll be on later to let you all know if I let my hubby have his way and find out the sex!

i actually screamed...think my mum thought i was crazy!!

There was a trainee sonographer doing the scan so it took longer but that was fine because it meant more time seeing the baby. They asked if we wanted to know and I said have a look.......hubby was grinning....the sonographers looked at each other and I already knew what they were going to say....I was pretty sure I could tell.....I heard her whisper to the trainee 'that's a boy' and she agreed......'it's a boy.'

I just started to cry.....I felt overwhelmed. We were so sure we wanted another girl and couldnt imagine having a boy. We just looked at each other and laughed! OH said 'best get some goggles for nappy changes!'

We were so shocked. The sonographers were laughing at us! We kept looking at each other pulling stupid faces!

We had to go for a coffee and let it sink in a bit. It all feels a bit surreal. But obviously we are mostly really happy that the scan showed a healthy baby
