Scan this morning, what can I expect?

Morning ladies,

I have a scan this morning due to being so violently sick over the weekend, they want to check and see everything's ok.

I'm only 5+2, what should I expect to see? I'm guessing not very much xx

Hi lulu, you should see a gestational sac and maybe a yolk sac. Unlikely to see fetal pole or hb yet. Hope all goes well, keep us updated x

Hi lovely, everything was fine. Saw both which was lovely! Have some fluid on my left ovary which they want to check again on Wednesday. Not sure what that means xx

Just read through the notes and it's a cyst on my ovary, hopefully nothing to worry about. Had some mild cramps on that side but nothing out of the ordinary I wouldn't have said xx
