Hi ladies, I'm going for an early reassurance scan on Friday when I will be 7 + 1, I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a scan at this stage and how likely it will be that we will see a heartbeat?

I had one at 6 weeks and saw a tiny bean with heart flickering away , good luck xxx

I had a scan at exactly 6 weeks and saw nothing but an egg sac.
Two weeks later at 8 week scan little bubba had a healthy heartbeat flickering away.

Go with no expectations. Just enjoy the moment.

Good luck

PP xXx

Thanks ladies, yes I'm going with little expectations to avoid being disappointed. Fingers crossed all will be fine and I can start to relax ever so slightly!x

I had one at 7+2 and there was a little jelly bean shape with a heart beat x

I had one last pregnancy at 7 weeks and 2 days and saw the heartbeat x

Just wanted to share that we had our early scan this afternoon and we are having twins xx

Congratulations! Twins! That's amazing, do they run in your family?

Well my husband has identical twin sisters but our twins are non identical, therefore they have to come from the female (me). I don't have any twins on my side so it's a big surprise!xx

Well your side of the family has twins now! Did you have any signs beforehand or was it a complete shock?

I would say the signs were feeling extremely nauseous all day every day, extremely sore breasts and I look like a have a little bump already. Still thought we wouldn't be blessed with twins though!xx

Wow congratulations!!! Twice the fun xx

Hi Sarah_sun
We paid to have an early reassurance scan. I was really worried about waiting until 12 weeks for my first scan so we decided to pay for one. After finding out we are expecting twins though i am now twice as worried!
