Hi all, I'm new here...

I wanted to ask about internal scans.

I had one yesterday, I am 4-5 weeks preg.. i was sent to EPU for the scan because I was having abdominal pains, like AF cramps..

No sac was seen :-(

Could a internal scan this early disturb things.

I'm so scared now but trying to be strong.

Thanks in advance x

Cramps like Af cramps are normal it's everything stretching and making room.
4 to 5 weeks can be too early to see anything. I had one around 5 weeks and only the sac was seen nearly 3 weeks later I had a bouncing baby.
A transvaginal scan is perfectly harmless otherwise they wouldn't do it.enjoy your pregnancy x
