Was glad to see him as i had some concerns regarding medications im on for my crohns disease, but he assured me its fine to take them and wont do any harm to the baby. he also said that my crohns may get a little better during pregnancy as the hormones seem to help! i have my first appointment with the midwife on the 6th of sept :cheer:

its all feeling so much more real every day. i just have to break the news to "daddy" now and then my dad(which is scarier than telling baby's dad!)

Hi there,

That's good new about the Crohns Disease. I suffer from chronic IBS, which seems to have got better during pregnancy. I still take my medication but no where near as often. I just hope it stays this way after baby arrives. xxx

Good luck with telling everyone

You don't have long to wait to see the midwife, I'm still waiting to hear from mine. The doctor said I'd see her at around 8 weeks. You must be really excited about seeing her, I can't wait!
