Hmmmmm well I walked into the nurses office the idea for a check-up and she commented on how in proportion my bump is :rotfl: ie I've two enormous sacks of potatoes for boobies and the bump has got serious contenders for size lol. It doesn't feel like the hugest bump ever as it's only just started to get in the way when I'm trying to wash up and things like that.

I reckon you need to get to the delivery suite the night before this time - just in case! Hope it's really easy for you! Has the length of your pregnancy differed at all? Will be interesting to see, but I guess it might be hard to tell if your ovulation is all over the place. :cheer: Here's to a great 3rd labour for you! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Bethany is my eldest and she was 7days overdue,
i was induced on my due date with Josh as i had OC so they decided it was best to deliver him, but considering its more painful and tends to be slower, once i was actually in established labour i flew along

now this one is fun, this pregnancy was planned, other 2 werent, so we were plotting my temp etc to pinpoint fertility, though as soon as we started TTC my periods went from clockwork to as and when they fancied ( went about 56 days between 1 period, was convinced i was pg but wasnt :( :wall: ) my LMP was 11th April, which makes my LMP due date at 15th Jan, i had this written down in a) my diary b) my temp chart

BUT when i went for scan they moved me back to 12th feb, and said my period must have been after that, yet i know it wasnt, but with me not being able to tell when i actually conceived then i cant really say, i hope its somewhere in between my LMP due date and my scan date, that would be ideal

i also had epidurals and was laid on my back for first 2 deliveries, whereas this time im planning on a water birth and being more active, hopefully ill only be in labour a few hours :cheer:

I was on my back for my first 2 labours and my 2nd was induced too. I would like to try it a bit more natural this time and listen to my body. Thats the plan anyway, Lol.

Ooooooooooooooo good luck Kellie and Sassy, hope you get the labour's you want this time round! Cool how you're both on your third birth as well :D

Sassy - I'm one of these annoying people that conceived really quickly, I was amazed as I wasn't even sure I was ovulating. My cycle was about 42 days long, and I had one in the 50's as well, plus I was 34.... But it turned out that the ovulation symptoms I was getting at days 10-14 were accurate. Also meant I had pmt then on, building up from day 14 which wasn't much fun.... According to all the fertility things and a couple of gp's I saw, they were all quite strict on the fact that women ovulate 2 weeks before their period, but that was never me. I'm not convinced it's an exact science.....

Interesting to read your labour stories - and really nice that with the induction you were ok once you were in induced labour, thanks for that!

Did you get an idea when you may have ovulated from the OPK sticks with this pregnancy? I read somewhere today that they normally add 38 weeks from date of estimated ovulation, so maybe that would be useful to you?

what are OPK sticks? i really dont know when i ovulated, my temp was up a bit but tbh i aint got a clue where ive put the chart to check it LOL

i guess though if theyve put me back til 12th feb, the babys likely to come 2 weeks either side, im not too fussed as long as hes healthy and not too big!!!!

Oooooooo my bad, sorry I thought you said you'd been using them. I dont know what they are either lol, I just know some people here use them to chart when they're ovulating. Wishing you a healthy, not too big baby!

LOL no i just downloaded a basal body temp chart and bought a thermometer and took my temperature everyday, and plotted it on a graph, when i had sex, what my mucus was like etc

it was pretty obvious when i was ovulating though as my temp went up a bit, but when i had actually conceived my temp stayed consistently higher until i had the positive test

:D

Cool about your temp - mine's still quite low lolol. Nice that it was a good system that worked for you!

we werent sure how long it would take, i had a coil before we started ttc, but as soon as it was removed my periods just went haywire so took us 7mths
