Rubella

Okay so today I was looking through my pregnancy notes and came across the results of my 12 week blood tests..

Rubella was detected in my tests, is this bad? I have a tendency to google everything and defiantly scared myself a little when I read: “Birth defects if acquired by a pregnant woman: deafness, cataracts, heart defects, mental ******ation, and liver and spleen damage (at least a 20% chance of damage to the fetus if a woman is infected early in pregnancy)”

but then I think if it was a problem my midwife would have mentioned it to me, right?

After googling it some more I realise the fact it has been detected means I am immune, I need to stop panicking over everything!!!!

Oh bless you! Must have been horrible to think you had Rubella.
