I have another post about these pains but now that I know exactly what they are, I thought I'd post a few articles for those who are worried about these sharp pains in the lower abdomen, that occur when you stand up quickly for example, or when you turn or switch positions in bed. mine seem to last a little longer, however they seem to get better when i lay down, but i will get it checked if they get worse.

God this is so reassuring. I had that today and a bit of discharge and ran to the toilet to see if there was blood! All was fine but they are scary!

You'll never guess what. I was in bed last night trying to settle down to sleep and suddenly sneezed and a pain shook through the left hand side of my pelvis. I had to take a few deep breaths to make it go away. It only lasted a few seconds but it was really sore. But thanks to your post I thought so that's what ligament pain feels like. Weird timing.
Thanks for letting me know about it.
We're due around the same time I think so must be having similar experiences.

Yes my pains are still there, but I take warm baths to soothe my muscles and it works. I also rest a lot, spend a lot of time sitting or laying down. What's your due date? i think it's the 11th isn't it?

It's December 13th or thereabouts.
My pain only lasted for a few seconds but I get aching in my pelvis/hips all the time. Sometimes it feels like a sharp cramp and others like an ache but I get it most days.
