Tegan will be 20 weeks on thursday, she can roll front to back But can't roll back to front. is this normall? Im getting worried as most of the other babies at baby group roll both ways! x
Charley rolls both ways but when he does back to front his arms get stuck!
My neighbour's little boys 19 weeks and he can't roll either way! I wouldn't worry hun, she'll do it when she's ready x x
Owen rolled front to back for a week, non stop when he was 18 weeks. Then he just completely stopped like he had forgotton how to do it. Only in the past 2 weeks (26+ weeks) has he started rolling again both ways! Funny little pickles arn't they! some of his peers (same age and few weeks older) are not rollign at all. seems the babies at your baby group may be advanced?!!
Maybe they are, i haven't seen them all doing it But there Mums claim they can. Im glad its Not just Tegan who can't roll, she doesn't seem that interested in rolling over she's more interested in standing up, little bugger! x
hmm reckon some of their rolling may be *dubious*! we have a friends baby like that, just wants to stand all the time, hates tummy time and no sign of any rolling at all. They're all so different! but it's easy to worry
Yes Isla is the 27th. If I poke her she will roll completely to her front but then shoves her hand in her mouth the other arm trapped under her body and then tries to bring both knees up. She ends up squealing and getting nowhere
She can stand, really good head movement, laughs and smiles all the time so I'm happy with her development. But it does worry me that other October babies are rolling
H rolled front to back alot and back to front he jsut used to lay on his side but his arms get in the way it's only the last couple of weeks hes been able to sort his arms out!!!
Chloé started rolling at 11 weeks so shocked I actually had to record and facebook it lol andthrn both ways at about 13 weeks but my first baby bella didn't roll till she was about 7 months and zander dent till about 6 1/2 months they all develop at dif rates and I def wouldn't worry about it x one of the ladies at baby massage asked how old she was (a lady that was watching) and when I told her she was 4 months now and they asked when she started and I said 2 months they looked put out as her child was 7 months and wasn't but he was sitting up and Chloe can't sit up yet so every baby is sooooo different xxx
Zac rolled front to back at about 4 months but only started rolling back to front at 5 and a half months, now there is no stopping him, he constantly rolls when I'm trying to change his nappy! X
my lo has just grasped back to front but he doesnt do it often at all!!! he gets to one side and then goes back on his back again!!! dont worry all babies have their own pace!! ive stopped comparing my lo to other babies now cos i got myself too worked up that he wasnt doing what everyone elses lo was!!
october baby here!! Josh managed to roll over from B-F at about 4 months and it was lush and then at about 4.5 mths he did it the other way. However hes now 5.5 months (i realise thats not entirely helpful lol) HOWEVER he has completely forgotten how to do it either way, isnt interested and honestly, when you put him on his front it looks like he has never been able to do it! he loves standing and has amaazing head control etc and his development is going well but he just won't/has forgotten how to roll over! They'll do it in their own time i spose..... Hope that helped xxxx
Henry has just started rolling B-F but he can only go one way, to his right! Believe me it's no fun! He gets laid under his play mat, instantly rolls over then give him approx 5 seconds and he's screaming because he can't move gggrrr! He can't roll back! It's even worse at 2am when he does it in his sleep and can't get back!
