Rolled Fondant (Icing)... How easy?

Have any of you tried to make it yourself?

I have a receipe for it, but I am kinda worried about how it will turn out? I REALLY want to try it, but something is telling me to go down the easy route and buy the ready made from the shop.

Basically, we are having a party on Sat (BBQ - again!) for Brian since he is home and he missed his birthday. He says he doesnt want a fuss.... but he does secretly!!

I am planning on *trying* to make a cake for him in the shape of Boobs. I have done boob ones before, but have always just bought the icing, but I really want to make it from scratch.

id buy it myself But you always sound like you're pretty good in the kitchen so i reckon you'd be find. but sorry no advice

its really easy.. jsut follow the instructions.. and teb.. if you want it coloured its miles easier to colour home made icing then it is to colour ready made.. as there are so many preservatives and crap int eh ready made stuff.. compared to home made.. home made is miles better to roll its lovely going to perve in adult section now 8)
