Right, names(this is going to be hard)

So due to me being Russian, we want names that work in both Russian and English.
Last time we waited until 20 week scan to know the sex but I want a list this time before so I am more prepared:

For a boy we have:
Gregory (2nd choice last time)

And thats it!

For girl i like:
Alyssa
Mila (pronounced Mee-la)
Evelyn(a) - can be shortened couple of ways

What do you think?

I absolutely love the name Evelyn, it would be top of my girls names if it wasn't for a relative getting there first. I might just use it anyway though I love it that much.

Oh, just asked hubby and he pulled a face started pronouncing it Ev-ee-lyn instead of eve-lyn... Maybe I'm wrong though, dunno lol

Mila = Myla to me so might not translate so well.

I really like the name Elena, I think that's quite a Russian name that translates xx

Lol, is it even a name? I dont have other options as we didnt like other names. My brothers is Alexander so that was out.
DH just said he likes Kseniya for a girl but i dont like it

I love Gregory and Evelyn. Evelyn is one of my top girls names and about the only one me and OH can agree on...not that I'm preggers though! I pronounce it ev-e-lyn, not eve-lyn. I also love Abigail. I prefer Melissa to Alyssa. Do you like Anna? That seems quite universal for English/Russian.

Melissa unfortunately isnt a Russian name at all.
Anna is quite a common name so is Elena so trying to steer clear of those. I am picky!

Hey hun, I looked after 3 little russian boys at nursery years ago called Mark (which you've said is out), Ian & Michael but they called Michael 'Misha'. It really suited him too!
