rh neg when to get an anti d after bump

Hi

Hoping someone can advise on this. What kind of bump do you need to have in order to get an anti d. Sounds stupid i know but does bumping your bump against the table as you sit down qualify?

I might be wrong but I thought you only needed anti d after an 'invasive' proceedure like am amnio? Not sure you would need one if you have bumped your bump.

When i was pregnat with Jess they said it if was a bad knock or if i fell over. It has to be a bad enough knock for the blood to be crossed

My MW never mentioned this to me I am always banging into things with my bump Not majorly hard, but what if I had and no-one bothered to tell me this??? Maybe it's common sense to assume that bloods could cross but I'm no doctor and I really think I should have been told of this risk I feel really annoyed about it now lol

I am Ok thanks. If not neurotic (SP)!! On Fiday i sort of stomped into my chair at my desk and knocked the underside of my bump as i was sitting down. Anyway over the weekend i have managed to work myself up that i may have done some damage!!! Think i am just needing something to worry about.

Maybe its just my hormones

Please dont let me make you worry I am just such a worrier. I think Jo Jo is right its only if its a major bump - like a bad fall. My OH said this to me and i should have listened to him but sometimes i just need to hear these things from someone else!! Hope that makes sense.

I am so sorry i didnt want to cause others to worry. Lol now i am worrying about making you worry.
