Hi Ladies,

Just wondered what your opinions are on this -

I spent a small fortune on Dr Browns Bottles for Ruby and most of them are still in brilliant condition so I was debating re-using them for baby number 2 and just buying new teats? Ruby doesn't use them anymore as she is onto a sippy cup and a tommy tippee bottle now.

I am not sure why it is recommended to buy new bottles for every new baby if they are still in good condition? Can anyone give me some guidance on this?

Thanks x

Personally I'd reuse them, didn't even know that it was recommended to get new ones. I'd get new teats obviously but use the same bottles, especially if they're still in good condition.

If they're in good condition, just reuse them.

We're buying new for our second, purely because our LO is still using them for milk and they're too worn, all the measurements have worn off them! Also OH wants to invest in some Dr Brown's this time. If my old ones were in better condition I'd just being resusing them.

Reuse them! A lot of things are recommended that we all go against :D

We reused bottles, just bought new teats as the old ones were really manky!

I'm going to reuse Max's I think, with new teats, don't see why not :) xxx

Getting new ones for my new baby. Ours just looked a bit grotty by the time my son was done with them!
