hey you guys, im v tempted to try a reuseable nappy and see how i get on?? my worry is madison is in her nappy at night for a good 12 hours sometimes slightly more depending if she sleeps longer (shes not neglected i change her soon as she gets up) lol would i be able to use a reuseable for that long??

and where do i start?? i dont want to buy loads incase i dont like it or more to the point i dont want to spend a fortune?? someone advise me plz! xx

At night it depends on how wet your little one gets as to whether one would last that long, I found with my little one that he only did anything if he woke up so he slept through then did something so you might be OK, you could always still use eco disposables at night then see how you get on with reusables in the day first. We put extra stuffing in our little one's nappy at night once we used them just in case but we just used old teatowels or muslins rather than buying more boosters. Hope this helps a little and good luck.

Are you wanting to use Terry nappies or the shaped ones? Terry nappies are dead cheap from Ebay so if you don't like them then you're not too much out of pocket :) I have 30 of them now and have spen about £25 overall and i'm hoping that will be all I need :D

thanks girls, not too sure i still have a right few disposables but once theyre gone i have to say i kinda like the funky nappies!! :D xx

Look on cloth nappy tree, you get some real bargains, all are preloved but to be honest most of my nappies are spotless anyway, that way you can get a feel for different fits and styles
