Results of 20 week scan...

We've just been for our 20 week scan this morning and after a very long wait (45 minutes), we have found out that we are having a little baby BOY!!! Team BLUE!!!!

The sonogropher was able to get close up in between baby's legs and there it was - his little winky, clear for us all to see!! I had a feeling I was carrying a boy but kept it to myself in case I was wrong. Hubby thought it was a girl. We are both so excited and can't wait to meet our little monkey!

Aww, congratulations!! It's so amazing how they can tell when they're still so small!!

We're still disagreeing about finding out, luckily we have a few weeks to go!!

I wasn't sure whether I wanted to know the sex of the baby but my husband was adamant we find out, and if we weren't able to find out the sex on our scan today he suggested going for a private scan! But our little one was on his best behaviour and we were able to tell.

I don't think it makes a difference what you're having - especially with the first child - as long as it is healthy. But it does help knowing so that you can make some preperations and you don't have to buy everything in white / neutral colours! And when it comes to prams you can opt for nice colours instead of being 'safe' and going for black!!
