restless nights??

ive noticed that riley sleeps well during the day and is quite content.

but at night its a different story. he is very restless. no matter what i try i cant seem tosettle him.

i know alot of babies are like this, but is there anything i can do/do differently to help comfort/settle him??

It's difficult as he's so young, but as he becomes more alert try and 'play' more during the day.

With a tiny baby, maybe put some music on and dance with him in your arms.

Sadly I think most babies go through the nocturnal stage.

alice would do this. the best thing i found was not to tiptoe around her during her day naps and keep her awake as long as possible. then at night, no eye contact, keep everything quiet and boring. she soon grew out of being wide awake at 2am.

thanks ladies. touch wood, he has been really good the last 2 nights. just waking up for his feeds and then going back down again.

its so much nicer like that. he doesnt get distressed, and i get to have abit of sleep myself lol.

lets hope it lasts
