So I get RLS on a normal day, seems to run in the family.
For me personally, it's triggered by tiredness. If I get too tired (force-your-eyes-open tired) my legs will cramp and I can't keep them still long enough to drift off.
First trimester being the wonderful time of sickness, exhaustion and bowling ball boobs we all know; I am constantly tired, and as a result I cannot get rid of my RLS!
It only affects me when sitting or laying, and during pregnancy it seems I get it in my arms too! It's awful, really uncomfortable and frustrating. If I could sleep 22 hours a day it'd be fine!
The extra tiredness is causing extra RLS. On a normal day a 10 minute nap will get rid of it, during first tri however, I am now actually waking up from the desire to move after solid blocks of sleep! And once I'm up, I need to pee, and I'm another hour trying to become comfortable and exhausted enough to ignore my fidgeting limbs and nod off.
Does anyone else suffer?
I need suggestions please! I'm so tired
