Reflexology

I went for the first time a few weeks ago, she picked up that I had inflammation around my right Fallopian tube, I'm having lap and dye today because I have pain on the right side, so also interested to find out if she is right.

I'm next booked in in two weeks to give me chance to get over today she then plans to see me once a week. Hoping the combination of reflexology and the dye test will help but who knows, she also suggested that I use she oak drops and stick to organic food avoiding red meat an caffeine!

Let us know how you get on with it xx

I've been having reflexology for a couple of months now. Not 100% sold on the science of it but I do find it very relaxing and figure it can't hurt. I did get my first natural AF in over a year after my second or third session where she was applying a LOT of pressure to the ovary and uterus areas - so who knows, maybe it worked!

I have it a few times a year for a treat. I'm not sure if there's anything in it but I do find it relaxing and its just nice to chat to someone about things that you feel are too minor to talk to the doctor about. Mine did mention liver and general digestive areas which I'm sure are important in balancing things out in that whole area. If we are having difficulty conceiving it makes sense to have other healthy internal organs, whereas others can get pregnant whilst drinking too much and eating really bad food!

Re: ovary side, I always felt myself ovulate on the right side and only about once a year on the left, and when I had my first follicle scan I had more on the right than the left, but when I went for the clomid scan the large follicle was on the left! I asked the nurse and she said the ovaries are actually much closer together than you think and it can feel as if its on one side but its actually the other!
